Healthy Kids University

Healthy Kids University (HKU) is a free program offered to members of the YMCA, which allows parents to drop off their child Monday - Thursday from 5:30pm-7:30pm, and allow them to work out or have time to themselves. This program gives children an opportunity to interact, socialize, and play with other school-age children, all under the supervision of positive young adult role-models. The goal of HKU is not only to provide a place for parents to leave their child for a short period of time, but also to encourage the importance of activity and a healthy lifestyle.

Come for the entire time or part of it. Activities vary by day and location. This is free to youth members ages 5-12.

At Healthy Kids University, we attempt to focus on the following:

-Fun Physical Activity
-Sportsmanship
-Making new friends
-Learning new skills and improving on old ones
-Positive Feedback and Encouragement
-Healthy Living and Nutrition
