Governor Whitmer has extended the Stay At Home order through May 15. We are closely monitoring the orders and all relevant precautions as they relate to the YMCA's timeline to re-open. As it currently stands, we are preparing to resume business sometime mid-month " yet we know that the situation continues to evolve, so we are planning for multiple scenarios.
While we understand that the uncertainty may be frustrating, we hope that you will choose to keep your membership active during this time so that we can see you at the Y again as soon as we open our doors.
If you make automatic monthly payments by bank draft or credit card, and you need for us to place a hold on your account in order to not be charged on May 1, please email your membership director for Maple St. or Portage, or call us before the close of business on Wednesday, April 29. If you choose to Stay With The Y and keep your membership active, your financial support is making it possible for us to offer crisis programs that are helping literally thousands of people in our community who need vital services.
We continue to offer virtual programming through our website and Facebook, which includes 19 LIVE workouts from our local YMCA instructors throughout the day all week long. Keep our front-line staff in your thoughts as we continue to serve the community.
