Portage YMCA
Power has been restored to the facility. The Portage Y will open at 9am, Thurday, May 9. The pool will reopen at 1pm for lap swimming, as it is warming much faster than anticipated. As of 10:30am, the pool is 84 degrees.
Pool Programming Information:
- Swim lessons and Family Swim will run as normally scheduled on Thursday, May 9
- Water exercise at 6pm will NOT run this evening. Anyone wishing to continue their normal exercise routine may come at the normal class time, but no instructor will be present.

Maple YMCA
The Maple YMCA was unaffected by the storms and is open for its regular hours.
Lincoln OST Program
The Lincoln OST program will operate as scheduled.
Northside Early Learning
The Northside Early Learning program will operate as scheduled.
Kalamazoo OST Programs
Kalamazoo Public Schools are open. Prime Time for Kalamazoo Schools will proceed as planned.
Portage OST Programs
Portage Public Schools are closed on Thursday, May 9. The YMCA of Greater Kalamazoo is offering full day care—with limited spots available—to current Portage Prime Time families at the Maple Y. Families have been sent registration information via Class Dojo. Please reach out to Corey Clark with any questions.
