Due to weather-related issues, the following program areas at the Portage Y are closed today.
- The pool: Closed today through Wednesday
- The gym/basketball courts: Closed today through Monday
To allow our staff to celebrate the holiday with their families, the YMCA of Greater Kalamazoo will observe modified schedules at our Maple and Portage branches over the Independence Day weekend. Please note the adjusted hours for Friday and Saturday below:
FRIDAY, JULY 3:
Our facilities will remain open for normal hours, with a minor adjustment to childcare:
- Maple Kids Zone: Closes early at 1 PM
- Portage Kids Zone: Normal hours
SATURDAY, JULY 4:
Both the Maple and Portage branches will be open in the morning, only:
- Facility Hours: Open from 7 AM – 10 AM
- Kids Zone: Closed at both branches
- Group Exercise: All classes are canceled
- Pools: Open at Portage and Maple for lap and adult swim
24/7 ACCESS: Members with 24/7 Access can still utilize the Maple Cardio Room outside of these modified holiday hours. Interested?
