Girls 3-4 Grade Recreational (updated 12/30)[/url]
Itty Bitty Basketball
Pre-K thru Kindergarten
Itty Bitty Basketball is a co-ed league that will help young players learn the basic fundamentals of basketball. Players will develop social skills, character, and self-esteem while developing and learning the game of basketball. Each child will learn and improve in dribbling, shooting, passing, teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill-related games - but most of all, have FUN playing basketball. Coaches will teach the YMCA Core Values of Honesty, Caring, Respect, and Responsibility.
8 week season - January 12 - March 2. Teams practice on Saturday for one hour, and coaches have fun drills and activities to help young players learn and enjoy basketball. We cannot guarantee special requests during late registration.
Schedules will be available by 12/20.
Coaches Clinic: Monday 12/10 7:30pm - 8:30pm at the Maple Branch
Co-Ed League Grades 1-2
Rookie Basketball is a co-ed league that will help young children continue to enhance their basic basketball skills. Players continue to learn social skills, character, and self-esteem while developing their game. Each child will learn and improve in dribbling, shooting, passing, defensive skills, teamwork, sportsmanship through drills, activities, and scrimmages, and have FUN playing basketball. Coaches teach the Core Values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.
12-week season - December 7, 14, January 11 - February 29. Teams practice for 1 hour on Saturdays and players will have 7 practices and 5 scrimmages. Times will vary.

Coaches Clinic: Monday, October 19, 7:30pm - 8:30pm at the Maple Branch
Grades 3-4 and 5-6
Our Youth Basketball League provides a fun and supportive environment to learn to play and improve basketball skills. This is a 13 week season with 13 practices and 10 games. Practices and games are held at school gymnasiums in the area.
Practices will begin the week of November 11.
One hour / one day per week practices determined by coach on 10/29.
Games will be on December 7, 14, 15 January 11 - February 29.
Game times will vary.
Schedules will be available by November 21.
The Y-Ball Program emphasizes equal participation, along with fun and fair play. Coaches teach the rules, YMCA Core Values and the proper techniques of dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork.
Coaches Clinic: Monday, October 29 7:30p -8:30p at Maple Branch
Join us and build your basketball skills, dribbling, passing, and shooting. The program runs on Saturdays.
Y-Hoops Teams are for individuals and/or teams to play against other teams.
7 games - League for games only.
The season is 8 weeks. Register as a team or as an individual for placement on a team.
January 11- February 29.
Tryouts on January 11, 2019 - time and location TBD
Teams will practice an hour one day each week beginning November 6th. Practices are normally held at local schools or area churches. They take place Monday - Thursday and will start no earlier than 5pm. Practices are selected by the head coach. We cannot guarantee special requests during late registration.
